CF Astir is a typeface inspired by the models of greek calligraphy & lettering that was widely used on sign-making and advertising after the war and throughout the fifties, sixties and early seventies. It has a significant slant and a quite high thick-thin contrast in a fine resemblance of that old-style expressive craftsmanship. The typeface supports Greek, Western European, Turkish and Romanian languages. CF Astir was initially released in February 2016 as CF Ariston and was renamed in July 2016.
